Gather Your Supplies - Giveaway

There are days when going to an Arts & Crafts store to get supplies is like walking through a candy store. But, the more I go, the more it starts to feel like an obstacle standing between me and my finished projects! I say, "I need to go buy supplies," and my husband is not the only one sinking down into the chair and groaning. I try to counteract this effect by going to different stores whenever I can. Variety is the spice of life, right?

This week's giveaway is sponsored by Jessica H. of Avery's Flower Garden. Jessica, who just had a beautiful baby girl recently, started making these beautiful flower clips and is ready to share them with you! Jessica, whom you might have seen at some the local arts & craft shows, also sells delicious Scentsy Candles--which makes her a very busy bee!

One lucky DFW Craft Shows reader will WIN a $20 gift certificate to Avery's Flower Garden! Mix and match styles and colors to put together the perfect flower clip assortment for yourself!

How to enter: Simply leave a comment (here or on Facebook) and tell us what your favorite shopping destination is (be it local or online) for all your Arts & Crafts needs! Don't forget to leave an email address if your blogger profile is private, otherwise, I will have no way of contacting you!

Contest ends at 10:00PM on Tuesday, October 26th. Winners will be announced the morning of Wednesday, October 27th, 2010.

Are you interested in sponsoring one of our giveaways and having your business listed on our site as shown above? Email me at dfwcraftshows@gmail.com for more information!

  1. Those flowers are beautiful! I completely agree about getting supplies has become an obstacle! But I never pass up the chance to go in a Hobby Lobby or an Asel Arts- I may not buy something every time I'm in one, but they definitely get the creative juices flowing :)

  3. Pretty much like everybody else, I go to Hobby lobby...I always end up speding $20 or more in there! I also shop JoAnn and sometimes Wal-Mart for supplies. I frequent the thrift stores for baskets and display props. I also like to use online retialers, such as CDWPlus ( i get my collar and leash hardware there)
