What Holiday Are We On - Giveaway

Well, long before Halloween came along, we had hit that odd point where Christmas decorations started popping up everywhere. Before I even had candy to hand out to the kids, they were trying to sell me ornaments for my tree! Of course, this makes me feel like the victim of a sneaky holiday attack. I am overcome with a sudden panic that the entire world is prepared for Christmas and I haven't even decided what I'm doing for Thanksgiving!

That's when the DFWCS arts & crafts show calendar really comes in handy, because I realize there are still PLENTY of opportunities to shop for that perfectly unique handmade gift for the people I care about.

This week's giveaway is sponsored by Jamie of Tanner's Touch. Tanner's Touch is run by a local crafty mom who specializes in hand-painted plates, hand-painted ornaments, and glass magnet tins. Everything is created just for you to help you celebrate life's special occasions. Swing by the Tanner's Touch Etsy Shop to see the large variety of personalized gifts that Jamie has to offer!

One lucky DFW Craft Shows reader will WIN 2 tins of 6 glass magnets each-- one for you to keep and one for you to giveaway to someone special (a total value of $25). Each tin contains 6 glass magnets each with a super strong rare earth magnet. Best of all-- you get to pick the design for each tin! Whether you cheer on UNT, TCU, Texas Tech, Baylor, A & M, or the Longhorns (or another local or professional team) or want something for your child's teacher, Jamie's magnet tins make the perfect stocking stuffers. Check out her etsy shop to see many of the themes available!

How to enter: Simply leave a comment (here or on Facebook) and tell us when you usually start your holiday shopping! Maybe you started weeks ago, maybe you are planning to start in a few weeks... personally, I just barely got on board last weekend. From here on out, it's holiday shopping for the win! Don't forget to leave an email address if your blogger profile is private, otherwise, I will have no way of contacting you!

Contest ends at 10:00PM on Tuesday, November 23rd. Winners will be announced the morning of Wednesday, November 24th, 2010.

Are you interested in sponsoring one of our giveaways and having your business listed on our site as shown above? Email me at dfwcraftshows@gmail.com for more information!

  1. These are so cool! And I'm happy to see Texas Tech listed amongst the options :) I began picking up a few little gifts a few months ago, but now I'm starting to panic while racking my brain for gift ideas for the men in our family. I just don't feel comfortable buying ALL the guys new socks & undies! LOL

  3. I'm almost done! Thank goodness for Etsy, I can shop handmade from home. We have to ship most everything we buy to VA so I have to be done early. I am sure excited about the Longhorn tin.

  7. I'm so new to all this! I have an etsy site but so far, it's been pretty slow. As for Christmas, no shopping yet. After Thanksgiving I get into gear.

These magnets are BEAUTIFUL! I'm going to check out her site now.
