Craft Fair at First Methodist Plano

"This Craft Fair is a major annual fundraiser for FirstChurch Plano's missions. There are 95 vendor booths inside with a few outdoor spaces that are showcasing their handmade, unique items along with an array of your favorite direct sales companies. This event has free admission and parking. Concessions available. It is expected to attract approximately two thousand shoppers eager to find early Christmas shopping bargains."

ArtsGoggle in the Near Southside

"Since its inception in 2003, ArtsGoggle has evolved into a popular festival of the arts in this eclectic neighborhood of historic elegance and urbanism immediately south of the central business district of Fort Worth. This free to the public, family-friendly event attracts a crowd as diverse as the neighborhood itself with live music, artistic displays of every kind, food, drink, and fun for everyone. Public support has increased rapidly, as evidenced by ArtsGoggle’s selection as the Best Gallery Art Show of the Last 12 Months by Fort Worth Weekly readers in 2007 and 2008.

This fall dozens of businesses in the Near Southside will become art venues and open their doors to show off the work of a variety of local artists. The public is invited to park their cars and rediscover this revitalized urban neighborhood by foot, Molly the Trolley, or bicycle, including Fort Worth Bike Sharing bikes.

ArtsGoggle is presented by Fort Worth South, Inc., the non-profit redevelopment organization working to revitalize this important urban neighborhood. Each year record ArtsGoggle attendance attests to the success of Fort Worth South, Inc. and the Near Southside community. We hope you can experience it for yourself."

In the Near Southside Fort Worth throughout three urban mixed-use villages located on Magnolia Avenue, Park Place Village and South Main Village.

They are accepting Handmade Items Only.

Booth spaces vary and are located both indoors and outdoors and cost $25.  All artists are required to register online. Artists who wish to show their work indoors will be placed at one of over 70 venues throughout the Near Southside. From law offices to pubs, hair salons to restaurants, our entire neighborhood becomes an open gallery for one evening. Artists who wish to be placed outside will be given a 10' x 10' space on the street. They are required to provide all the supplies for their set up including tent, table, chairs, display, lighting.  Fee includes coordination with venues for placement, listing in the ArtsGoggle program and promotional support leading up to the event.

4th Annual Celebration of Hope Gala

"The Celebration of Hope Gala 2013 is a community empowering fundraiser benefit to celebrate and commemorate the lives of those affected by all cancers alike and to raise the social awareness for cancer research in our communities.

The featured presentation for the event will be the “I’M A SURVIVOR” Fashion Walk Showcase, featuring a Red Carpet Showcase with vendors, shopping, dinner and live entertainment It will be a star-studded Soiree with heartwarming comedic laughs and life changing speakers sharing their heroic survival testimonials and experiences. This will be a ticketed event in which a portion of the proceeds from this event will go to support the Empowered Life Cancer Network."

Booths are an 6ft table and two chairs for $95 ( Early Bird Special, $125 after October 1st).  This fee includes 2 chairs, free Table covering and skirting (black), free vendor parking with elevator access, and free goody bag insert.  Electricity is an additional $65.  Wifi included with booth fees.
