I've been staying indoors with the AC down low reading lots of books! Although I'm looking forward to heading home to TX next week for the Detroit Arts Fest, I kinda dread the super hot temps! But, it's supposed to be 100 degrees here tomorrow...so maybe it won't be such a shock!?

LIving in Arizona things heat up pretty quickly in the summertime. I am planning an escape to Scotland and Ireland in August. :) Between now and then, I am spending time in the pool, or in my air conditioned little apartment taking online French lessons and reading. :)

I'm definitely staying inside quilting. I still need to do some work in my flower beds, but not when it's this hot! Thanks for the chance to win something beautiful. debgiro at wildblue dot net
ReplyDeleteI am in Upstate NY so it was hot there for a few days and now it is down to 60 and cloudy. So rather than dealing with the heat, I deal with the ever changing weather. Lately I have taken to cleaning out the garage to prepare for the upcoming community garage sale. It's something I can do no matter the weather.
ReplyDeletekldeamer (at) gmail (dot) com
I am eating watermelon & swimming. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely using the pool!

I live in the northwest so I usually don't have a problem with staying cool, sadly. I moved here from the south and I miss those hot steamy days. We will get about a week of heat and that's when I go to the beach. ambrerose at(aol) dot(com)

Well, living in Texas, I've learned to stay indoors with the AC on when it's hot and go out in the early morning or late evening. And if I'm out during the warm part of the day, I might just walk close enough to a water sprinkler to cool off a bit. :)
