This week's giveaway is sponsored by Susan of Moondog Treasures. Susan's love of yoga and art was the inspiration for Moondog Treasures, which focuses on mala bracelets, thai silver pendants on beaded strands, soldered pieces, stamped pieces, and jewelry made from PMC (precious metal clay). Every year Susan donates 54% of all sales from Moondog Treasures' mala bracelets to charity.
Contest ends at 10:00PM on Tuesday, March 06, 2012. Winners will be announced Wednesday, March 07, 2012. Entries open to the US only.
Congrats, Lisa Cox! You are the lucky winner of a Carpe Diem Necklace from Moondog Treasures, a $27 value. This tiny silver square pendant is hand-stamped with the Latin words "carpe diem" (seize the day). The pendant is made of silver precious metal clay and dangles from a delicate sterling silver chain. PMC is more pure than sterling silver. It contains particles of pure silver mixed with an organic binder. When the binder is burned away during firing, it leaves a pendant of 99.9% pure silver.
Check out Moondog Treasures online store or visit their Facebook Page for updates and new designs!

What I love about my life right this moment is having really decent girlfriends. I am very, very lucky.
ReplyDeleteAdorable necklace! I love stamped pieces and have thought about trying it myself, but there are just too many other projects waiting to be completed. Feeling good today because I've had a productive day today -- much done around the house (cleaning and laundry), a yummy dinner AND finished two upcycled handbags! Thanks for opportunity to win! :)

Katrina, Try the stamping!! It's so much fun. Just make sure you practice on something cheap at first - copper, not silver!! LOL ~Susan (Moondog)
ReplyDeleteI love my amazing family and new puppy (when he isn't taking off with my knitting, okay even then)
ReplyDeleteI am glad to have the use of my typing fingers to remain gainfully employed after suffering a sprained wrist, that keeps me from designing for the company I own with my sister and the one that employees me as their part time designer! I have been given a project for the website re-organization, therefore a purpose to be allowed to work!

My life today compared to last week? I have a new outlook. I had a massive episode with my heart last week. I wasn't afraid, I'm don't fear death. My husband was freaked as he's not ready for me to go anywhere else. So this weekend, we took time to recenter our selves, our marriage, and family. I"m taking things one day at a time. What that day brings I deal with and the rest is in G-D's hands.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Awesome necklace by the way.

It would mean so much to me to win this as a reminder to capture each day with all I have. March 2nd 2012 my precious sister in law passed unexpectedly at the age of 58. We are devastated! This would be a constant reminder from her to, "Carpe Diem" Thank you, for the chance to have this beautiful pendant. Julia Jones <3
ReplyDeleteI'm very grateful to have had her in my life! feathermoon@windstream.net
DeleteI love my two precious children!
ReplyDeletesoonermom76(at)gmail.com
Raising 4 Children was hard work and we kept putting time, love, encouragement, knowledge, wisdom, life experiences and so much more into them. Now that they are grown and we can enjoy living in the moment with them getting to draw out of the bank of raising children. They are now our best friends and all that input makes each moment with them more precious.
